Any ideas for prayer remembrance projects?

I'm looking for to give some new ideas of things to sew, I could knit, crochet … something "smart" people to remind them that they are not alone and that they prayed for. My church group has done prayer shawls, but we do somewhat less time-consuming, but still useful, so that we can keep up with demand. Any ideas?
