Red light on big TV screen, what does this mean?

I have a Mitsubishi TV I think it is a 60 inch screen. The lamp will light red is. The TV has no picture but with sound and then we go there. Does this mean that the TV needs a new bulb or something? I'm freaked out. I must be so resolved quickly as Possible!
