Is is ok to wear rosary beads casually?

I am a Catholic, I believe in God and I pray once a day everyday. Is it okay to wear rosary beads casually, for example on the top? I have seen many people wearing them, including singers (e.g. Chipmunk, Tinchy Stryder) and celebrities (e.g. Cristiano Ronaldo) and I was just wondering as it looks good, however I just would like to know wherever it shows disrespect to the God?

Rosary beads are not a fashion accessory.The Catholic Church would frown on using them in such a manner.
