For Stephen King fans, a question about the Dark Tower.?
I've read just about everything that Stephen King has written. I finally The Dark Tower VII to read: The Dark Tower. Of course I like most fans had, it seemed like forever, waiting to read the last book in the series. My question is, Do you read it and what was your reaction? How do feel about the book and the end? If I choose the best answer I will put my comment in response.
I enjoyed the whole Dark Tower series, some more than others. With regard to the last book and the ending. I liked it. . . finally. I had to ponder it a bit. I also wanted to something as big as an end, but Stephen King books are ultimately about characters and their personal journeys. Just in most cases it will take in some sinfully strange places. The same goes for the tower stuff, its all about Roland and his life and the decisions he has made and his involvement with this. Its all about the journey, if you do not see that until the end.
